ChurchInsight sponsors a child through Compassion, one of the world's leading child development and child advocacy organisations.
Ali Ouédraogo lives in Burkina Faso. He lives on the plains of Barkoundba Peul, home to approximately 10,000 residents. Typical houses are constructed of dirt, cement or grass floors, mud, brick or grass walls and tin or thatched roofs. Most adults work as animal herders or subsistence farmers and earn the equivalent of $16 per month.
The sponsorship allows the staff of Children of Peace Student Center to provide Ali with Bible teaching, sports and games. The center staff also offer educational monthly meetings, parenting skills, income-generating activities and discipleship for Ali’s parents.
